I've got two OS's installed on my computer, I dont know how it got this way but thats how it is.When Start-up my computer gives me the option to boot which ever one I want, But I dont need both I only need one the other just takes up space.

So is there anyway I can delete one without affecting the other?
I hope so..
Any help on the sitiuation is appreciated.

Thanx

first of all, what are the 2 operating systems, if it is windows and linux i do not recommend you do anything unless it is the windows partition you want to delete.

if it is 2 windows partitions, you need to boot into the one you want to keep, delete the other os in the disk manager, then enter msconfig delete the line booting the other disk from the bootloader
and thats about it

but remember to always backup your data before you do anything like this.

@Phantom69
It is 2 windows partitions,but
I go into disk manager and all I see is the C: & D: Harddrives, how do I know what to delete.
As for msconfig i dont know what "delete the line booting the other disk from the bootloader" means or of how I would go about doing that,
if you can provide alittle more information Id appeciate it.

Thanx,
Silo

well hopefully both partitions are different size, if they are, then delte the partition that is on the sized one that you want deleted, if that makes sense, once you have done all this, i will walk you through removing the boot option from the msconfig :D
