OK i have a Softmodded Xbox with Unlease X and im pretty Good at modding. the Problem is i followed at lease 5 different guides on how to Back Up games but they still do not Work. i used Qwix and Alcohol 120%.... i also used Craxtion and IMG burn. Need major Help.. i used at least 30 DVD-R and at least 15 DVD+R but none of them Work. i FTP the game to my PC hardDrive and i converted it to an XISO then i burned it to a dvd using IMGBURN and/or Alcohal 120%, but still none of them work. i also used Nero but that was a failure also. PLEASE HELP!!!!. im not sure what Drive my Xbox is using but i tried DVD+/-R the brand is called Memorex. If you have any Clue why they are not working please reply...

PS. I tried the Games NFS Most Wanted, DOA extreme Beach Volly Ball, Ultimate Spiderman, Black, I was unable to make any working Backups from these games. please help.

You said you used craxtion4, use it to patch and create the iso.
Then use imgburn to burn it no faster than 2x. If you burn it too fast it makes it hard for the xbox to read.

You have to copy the games to the xbox first using dvd2xbox. Your computer can't read the game. Once it's on your xbox, use FlashFXP to FTP it to your computer, then do what i told you.
Its pretty easy once you get the first one.

Easy way to make back-ups of originals:
1. Rip game to Xbox hard drive using latest dvd2xbox.
2. Launch Avalaunch.
3. Use Quix to transfer the game to your PC.
4. Burn to disc using ImgBurn at 4x.
Tips: Never use crap media, ESPECIALLY MEMOREX. Always use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

Thanks goes out to theridges for the userbars :)

Yup. In the past, I tried using Memorex since I got a pack of 100 for $20 and figured even if it didn't work I could use them for data discs. Burned three games, two on Xbox and one on GameCube. None of which worked. A week later, I found a comparison chart and Memorex was right at the bottom alongside knock-off brands.
