I've been wondering that for a long-time now. I remember reading something about the possibility of it damaging memory cards, but I may have mis-read it. Can anyone confirm that it won't damage a memory card?

it will damage the memory card if u turn it off while its saving but not wen its not doing anything

no it will not it will just corrupt that certain games save file as it does only save until the point you turn it off and then it cannot load it it will never damage your actual hardware or any other saves p.s its happend to me 4 times in spyro ht when its autosaving i didnt see the icon n i just turend it of n when i tried to load it it said your save file is corupted but all the other saves worked
