hello coorsman,

If u have AnyDVD(6051) U can use its ripper to rip to the HDD and then continue with shrink.

Or just have AnyDVD enabled while using shrink.

Or u can also use DVDFab(2983) to rip to HDD then u might have to use VobBlanker before shrink heres a guide for these two.

Also never have AnyDVD running while u use DVDFab as they might conflict.

thank you for the responses. I tried dvdfab then shrink. would not work. I used AnyDVD, Hopefully the right way. I just right clicked on icon and did the hard drive copy. That didn't work. I tried ripit4me and it worked until dvdfab was almost done then an i/o error. I aborted it and continued then had no problem through shrink, but then on Nero there was some problem i ignored and it burned. I am playing it to make sure it plays right. Thanks again for your help. This is a very infomative site for a novice like me.

Would have worked in shrink if u just used VobBlanker after dvdFab and before Shrink.

Heres were u can get VobBlanker

then just follow this guide(Or just skip to the VobBlanker part if u have the DVDFab part down) and then use DVD Shrink instead of Nero recode(if u dont have Nero)
