Unlock Code for Nokia 6230i and 6820, please?

Got two phones (old one and new upgrade one) and going to give one to my Mother to replace her one that won't even make a phonecall without dying but both network locked. If possible could you work out the unlock codes, please? That way she can pick the one she wants! (*grin* Hope she goes for the 6230i personally!)

You will need a non Meteor sim with no PIN for the 6230.
Please read ALL of the instructions below before you start.See the "Note:If nothing happens." below.

Is this correct?
If you know the risks, try this ONCE and ONLY ONCE and let us know if it works. You have only 3 to 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It will still work on your Network so no big loss.

Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only heve about two seconds.
Note:If nothing happens. Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim. Before you do this, make sure the sim you use does NOT have a security PIN CODE. If it does, reset the security code to default 12345 with the original phone. Insert a non accepted SIM and turn it on. You will see "phone restricted", select the UNDO option,then enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code.STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

The unlock code for the 6230i worked no problems, but the 6820 didn't, came up with "Code Restriction".

Have you entered any codes before into the 6820?
You can try this code ONCE ONLY. No Sim.

Entered the code provided in your first reply, and the code in your second reply, both with no sim card in the phone. Got "Code Error" the second time.
Haven't repeated any code.

The first code gave a message "Code Restriction" and the second code gave a message "Code Error". A wrong code would give "Code Error".
Do me a fav.
Put the non Metior sim in it and turn it on and tell if you see UNDO. It mtght be one of those odd phoned.
Do not put in any code yet.
Gone to do some research.
