yo people.

i had a quesiotn for anyoen who knows the answer.

i recenty bought a pre modded ps2 from bayareamods.net and i got the matrix infinity se chip in it.

the porblem is when i turned on the ps2 i tried a backup of an old japanese gam ei had. the ps2 started up and worked fine excpet for the screen. the screen wa sin black and white and keeps skipping constantly.

i tried an original tekken 5 game and it had the same affect.

it looked like i put a PAL ps2 on a NTSC tv but i checke dthe ps2 and everyhitng baout it iis NTSC. it says it everywhere and on every place. i just cant figure out what is wrong with it.

i tire dit on a 4 year odl tv and a brand new tv to the same result.

did my ps2 get messed up on its own or did this online store switch my NTSC motherboard for a PAL one and then mod it?

also, does anyone know what i can do with it to fix it??

Check the chip settings, it should have a setting for switiching between PAL and NTSC.

If it is a PAL ps2 then you need to go into the matrix infinity menu by pressing triangle and circle when you turn on the ps2 then change the output to NTSC
