Making a DVD compilation

Hi everyone

I'm fairly new to this DVD burning area.

I can copy DVDs to my hard drive no problem and burn them to DVD fine. What I would like to do is be able to make a compilation DVD of different short movies, which are currently on my hard drive.

Does anyone have any recommendations for software which will allow me to do this easily and reliably?

If they are all video_ts folders, you can do it quite easily with Shrink:

Run Shrink, click 'reauthor', then go highlight and paste the respective 'titles' under each video_ts folder onto the compilation window. Adjust 'compression settings' if need be, then burn away!

Ah excellent! Thanks for the info - downloaded it last night and tried it and it seemed to do the job :-)

Any recommendations for creating menus now? I have some Cyberlink software (Power Producer) but it's soooo slow (my pc's under a year old and has 2GB RAM) and seems inflexible I'd like to try something better.

Try Nero or VSO ConvertXToDVD.

Nero? Didn't know it was capable of generating menus - it's what I use to burn my DVDs and have never noticed any menu generating options. Will check it later when I get home.
