I think the ps1 mode is stuck in quick boot mode for ps1 games, whenever i put in a ps1 game it loads straight to the game no PlayStation logo shows up, when i turn the console on and have a ps1 game in there with the lid up, and then close the lid it auto boots the game but just stops loading, i then have to reset for the game to load then it goes straight into the game, any ideas whats going on?

OK, when i turn the chip off the PlayStation logo shows fine for originals, but when i turn the chip back on the disc stops spinning and nothing on screen shows the only way to get the game to play is to reset the console again, y fix is greyed out when i go to matrix infinity options, and when i press select while booting the ps2 up it goes to matrix infinity options but i can't select anything, but when i reset the console again and press triangle and circle to bring settings up the options work fine.

auto boot mode is enabled, all other options work fine apart from the ps1 logo not showing, it's very strange, also is the big matrix infinity logo supposed to show when you boot the ps2?, I'm getting pretty annoyed with this i already had to take my console back once for repair :( please help!

I know my mod chip is not a fake because i am still able to load backups for all games and my firmware is 1.88, it's just that when i boot ps1 games no Sony playstation logo appears when i start up, maybe a bad firmware flash? someone must know what is going on? i can't find any solution to this on the Internet so help is very much appreciated.
