So i got my xbox 360 working with all the backups and everything but now sometimes when i play it opens up the tray for no reason. Everytime i close the tray it says its reading but then it says opening and opens up my tray. Do you know anything about this?

This is about the bitsetting to ROM to burn backups:

I have the Pioneer 111D, just opened up DVDinfoPRO, clicked on the "+RW" icon and up pops 'Pioneer drives do not support bitsetting'...

Do Pioneers need to be set?

Refering to this from ronnie101's backup tutorial thread:

Quote:
Now DVDinfo PRO lets you set your burners booktype to DVD-ROM i know most pioneer and LG burners do dvd-rom automatically, but you never know. Load up dvdinfo pro at the top you'll see an icon in the toolbar that says "+rw" click on that and change the DVD+R DL to dvd-rom.
Does it mean that this does not need to be done on Pioneer drives??

Wesker, I believe the Pioneer's do not have to be set, and if you flashed your drive with one of the latest Xtreme firmwares, like 3.2 or 3.3, they fixed it so you don't have to do the booktype setting anymore. I do not have a Pioneer, but that's what I've read everywhere.

I honestly don't know much about the chip, but just try 1 backup and if it works, great.
