i copied a programme from the tv to a dvd disk
all ok but is there a programme i can use to edit the adverts out?

What software did you use to copy it?

Its likely you could've edited it out with that, seeing as you've now burned it, the disk is probably finalized, meaning you can't further edit the data on it.

i just put the disc in my dvd como and recorded it atraight from the tv.
