Well i downloaded the new version and it has no connection settings list and it has an error on the computer could not start server already taken.
Im about to give up

Seriously thanks for all your help but this is really not working for me. I've checked and rechecked all my settings
IM still geting Error connection to host 192.168.0.1.3333
I cant think of anything else to do

Hi, do either of you still monitor this thread? especially you Kcajblue?

I had Pimp streamer working perfectly! I could access every file on my computer at the touch my thumbs, i could watch all my movies, i could listen to all my songs, i could look at all my pictures.. I can still look at all the files sometimes if it decides to connect to my computer.. it shows the pimp streamer by DickyDick1969, based on various other stuff, and says Current stream directory ** and just sits there not showing me my files...Sometimes it conects tho... and i can look at my files and pictures, but music and movies freeze pimpstreamer and i get a disconfigured screen, and either a total freeze or a shutdown..

Any ideas? I don't think I did anything to make it not work... Like i said just yesterday I had it working fine.
