a png is just a picture, ignore that.
Get a program called dvddecrypter and click mode and go to iso - write.
Then open up the .iso and have a dvd ready to be burned to.

What brand DVD are you using? And what type, DVD-R or DVD+R? The problem is most likely bad media.

Ridata discs are no longer anything to do with RITEK, they did what a lot of manufacturers do & outsourced their disc production to another company & now use CMC Magnetics dye, which can be very hit & miss.
I suggest you change media to a much better brand; proper RITEK's like G05, or Verbatim will do the trick.

I'm getting the same problem with Splinter Cell 2 and Sly Cooper. I'm Using TDK DVDs with Matrix Infinity v1.54.
**Warning: From the following statement it may be obvious to diagnose my problem thus making me sound like a doofus but...
My first set of back-ups I asked my friend to make, he used HP CDs and I don't get the skipping/choppyness. Could it really be the brand of DVD, the DVD Decrypter/Nero settings (2x speed) or the ISO itself?

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to back-up FF7 DoC, but none of my attempts have worked. I'm working from the original disk, so I tried using Nero to directly back up the game. Then after reading this post, I tried installing the AnyDVD trial, and using DVD Decrypter to make an ISO, then burn from the ISO also using DVD Decrypter. That hasn't worked either. I've tried several times, so I doubt I'm just getting unlucky.
I'm no expert on DVDs, but I'm using a DVD-R, and I guess the brand name is GQ (Great Quality). There are no other markings on it. They're pretty old, I've had them for a while.
Anyone know where I'm going wrong? Is it just the DVDs I'm trying to use?

Ah guys, I figured it out, the recommended burn speed (or at least the one I used) is 4x. It works flawlessly with the same ISOs I was getting problems with before. Also, make sure that you don't have many processes running in the background i.e. you have more that 50% of your RAM free and using less than 5% of your CPU.

You got lucky! Give it time & they'll most likely stop working, or wear out your laser as it will need to work harder to read the discs.
Come back once you've burnt 2000 games (as I have) and let us know how many bad burns etc.. you've had, cos from the 2000 burns I've done on RITEK G05, I've had ZERO!
I'll bet you won't have even near as much success.
