I'm wanting to buy a xbox 360. Not only for the fact that you can play backed up games on them ,but i was also hoping you could play xvids on them?

Can you do this, Also if you could can you play them at high def if the xvids were high def?

I had videos that I tried to burn off and play in my Xbox but Im not sure if they were XviD or DivX. Is there much of a difference?
When I burnt it off it just said "Multi Media Disc" where it normally says "Play Game" But on the other hand. I was just taking a guess at the setting that I should have it set on cause it was the first thing I have ever burnt off in XviD or DivX form.

If you have xp media center you can stream xvids DivX and everything else thats what i do.You juSt use this program at runtime360.com.
