I am sure this question has been ask many times before, but, i have a firewire card with 2 usb ports on it aswell, i have never used this card before, except for usb's which work fine, i have just gone out out and bought a cord and when attached to my pc and video camera, it does nothing, does not recognise the camera, it just does nothing, now short of buying a new firewire card, which i will if i have to, is there a way to fix this? or should i buy a cord that goes to usb?
