wierd problem- aladdin XT on version 1.1 xbox

Im not sure if this is hard to fix or what it is, but ive installed chips on boxes before and like i installed this one. When i go to boot the xbox, if i tap it the box turns on and loads normal, which it's supposed to do, but when i hold the button in for one second, which normally would load the chips bios, the box just flickers on once and then boots up on the second time to the normal xbox screen. Does anyone know what is wrong, like maybe i need an extra wire to something or what. But i have the l1, bt, and do all attatched to where it said to go. Thanks!

- also for all this .. the aladdin XT's red led is on whenever i try to boot. If that makes a difference

nope if you have it in right i have no clue what the problem could be check your D0 wire though and pin header 4 make sure there in perfect

do you think there is the chance the chip is faulty or sometihng? if the d0 wasnt right it wouldnt show the light, correct?

i called them and they said could look at it for me, so i will be sending the chip back and see what happens. Do you know of anything bad from this site? They seemed friendly.
