So a day or two ago I tried out the multiplayer demo for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. I clicked on a server, but it was taking forever so I decided to close the program. Alas, the Task Manager was unable to close it so I ended up having to restart the computer.
After I restarted, I went into Firefox which, for some odd reason, looked and acted quite different.
1. When I opened it, it opened into a window, not full screen like it normally does
2. The bookmark toolbar (which I never use) is present below the navigation toolbar
3. The status bar (which I ALSO never use) is present at the bottom of the screen.
4. Also, it won't let me bookmark pages
Every time I start Firefox I get rid of the toolbars and resize the window to full screen but when I quit and start Firefox again, the toolbars are back and it goes into windowed mode. So my question is: Is there something I can do to save the way Firefox looks (getting rid of the toolbars) whenever I re-open Firefox and let me bookmark things?
What I have tried (nothing has worked)
1. Scanned for Viruses and Spyware
2. Reinstalled Firefox
3. Uninstalled any additional toolbars in Add/Remove Programs

Have you tried starting Firefox with the safe mode switch, and creating a new profile?

By new profile, you mean account right? And no I haven't tried either of those, but I can check to see if it happens in one of the other accounts.

I am using version 1.5.0.6
Oh and for some reason, on all the other accounts, it opens up normally without the toolbars in a full screen.

This may sound a little weird, but all of a sudden, FF went back to normal. I have no clue why. It opens full screen without any of the toolbars and I can bookmark pages again. I guess this means I don't really need any help anymore, but thanks to those who gave advice.

Well good luck with finding out what's wrong. Unfortunately, I really don't have any advice to give. Maybe the stroke of luck I had will come to you :)
