What is the latest Firmware and flasher for the Hitachi Drive And What Firmware and Flasher are you Using.

GaryOPA 7in1 2.1 is the latest.
The one that worked for me was the birdy flasher with media check2 fixed version. It uses xtreme 2.0 instead of 2.1

Thats the latest one from gary at OPA, but it didn't work for me. I have a Hitachi 59DJ and the one that worked for me was the Birdy Hitachi-LG Friendly flasher with mediacheck2 fixed. There's one out there that bricked alot of 59 drives but this one doesn't. I suggest finding the Birdy one if you don't have a pioneer DL burner.

I have a pioneer 109 and a plextor 740A with latest firmware that should work right? Then what firmware should I get I have a Hitachi 46

Get them both. Try Opa's first. If you get dirty disc errors, then reflash back to your original.bin and then flash with birdy's.
