Does anyone have any idea what would cause me to have this error repeatedly? Thank you so much in advance for your help.

Debby,
First, remove the serial# for Nero (the number that starts with 1A23-xxxx...), you dont want anyone else to use it. Click on the little pencil and paper icon in the upper right of your post to edit/make changes.
Now:
1) Here...
Nero API version: 6.6.0.8
This version of Nero is a bit old, I recommend you update to version 6.6.0.18, it's a free update.
Write down your Nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.0.8 from your system using the general cleantool found here:
http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html
Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go.
nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Ner....0.18_no_yt.exe
Package 2
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe
2) Here...
Recorder: <PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-107D>Version: 1.18 - HA 1 TA 1 - 6.6.0.8
The burner's firmware is a bit outdated at version 1.18, the latest version is 1.22, you need to download and install it since the update will contain added media support and possible drive enhancements.
The drives firmware is basically nothing more than software that instructs the burner on how to operate given cretain conditions, without the firmware, think of it as the scare crow in the wizzard of OZ without a brain:)
Download it directly from the link below and run the file to install:
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe...R107D_FW122.exe
3) Here...
CdRomPeripheral : PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-107D atapi Port 1 ID 1 DMA: Off
Your burner is most likely set to operate in PIO mode (very slow), you need to enable DMA mode as told above to ensure max performace from the burner. DMA (Direct memory Access) is just an enhanced method by which the burner will communicate with other devices.
Here is also another guide on enabling it:
http://www.onthegosoft.com/dma_setting_nt.htm
4) Here...
Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)
(Medium in drive: unknown. Medium required by compilation: DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW.)
These are indications that the burner is having a little trouble with writing to those disks (although a section of your log indicates that the disks are recognized by the burner), if after the firmware update your still having problems shown above, try switching to another brand of disks as indicated already by colw above.
5) Here...
Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s)
Try slowing the write speed down to 4x and see if that helps.
Start by making the changes shown and you should be ok..............:)
John.

wow John!!!thank you so much!!! You are my kind of tech support! You are very clear on what you are saying and EXTREAMLY helpful! Once again thank you sooooo much. I did everything you instructed me to. The only problem i had was when i tried to install the newer firmware. I got an error message that said "available target is not found" any suggestions on what i need to do to fix that problem?

Hi Debby,
There appears to be an issue with updating the firmware for that drive.
"Target not found" when applying the update.
You can try updating via DOS mode as explained here;
http://www.dvd-recordable.org/Article120...hreshold0.phtml
Or you can try the suggestion talked about here, using DVRFlash;
http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=154907
If you've successfully made all the other changes, try burning your video files to disk since as I stated above "a section of your log indicates that the disks are recognized correctly by the burner". If your burning successfully, a firmware update may not be necessary at this time.
Sorry for the limited help this time, but I'm short on time today.
