Hello all.
Fisrt of all i need a little help backing up my seasons of 24.

Im fairly new to this and have searched the forum but couldnt really find an answer, i started with scuba petes [think thats his name] guide to backing up dvds. I firstly done a backup of the x files movie dvd as a test which worked pefectly and used the dvds that i will be using for my 24 backup.

So i though as alot of people have been asking to borrow 24 [they have children = concern] i would try and back those up.
I used the same instructions as in the guide and it did seem to work no problems and said it burned sucesfully.
Now heres the problem which i cant figure out, it all fitted onto the disk ok, the chapter selection is on there and all 4 episodes, but when i try them in my pc you can see all the chapters etc but it dosnt play [just hangs on a black screen] similar thing happens when i try in my dvd player [just dosnt seem to read the disk]

Im using dvd decryptor/dvd shrink which is burning with Nero vision express se [latest version]

Please can anybody offer any advice to help me solve this problem?

You don't state what brand of media you're using and at what speed you're writing to disk, so..

Try using a better brand of disks like Sony (DVD+Rs), verbatims, Taiyo yuden.

Try burning no faster than 4x.

Note: Make sure your burner is running the latest version of firmware. You can check here and download an update if needed;
