hey everybody. just wonder if someone could tell me how i can load what i've saved on the PGEN as i can't frickin work it out. i can see the saves there in the save manager but only delete them and when i look in the memory card i just see a load of random files that don't mean a thing to me. please i am not very clever at this sort of thing an i wanna play shining force!!!!!

Click the "select" button, when you want to save the game, choose the option "MC save state" and click on it with "X" button, and the game is saved. When you want to load it from exactly where you saved, click again the "select" button, and choose "MC load state".
Note that after turn the ps2 off or change game, you must start the rom of the game you want to load (duh!!).
You can even save a game in the middle of a battle, or whenever you want.

yeah tried that the thing is when i try to load it tells me theres no data but i know there is.... oh well i'll persevere cheers for the reply dude....xtc

Try to save also with "quick save" (if is not this , is something look alike), and "quick load" to load it.
And ... did you try with another memory card? the real sony ps2 MC 8 Mb? I have a few more mc`s but only tried with the sony brand.
Tried a few moments ago to save and load three or four games, and all went fine.
I have the Pgen dvd with 1073 roms, don´t know if is the same that you own, but still thinking that your problem is with the MC
