Unlocking a Nokia 1600 - Any help?

Hello fellow members,
I am currently living in Antigua and have Nokia 1600 locked to our local BMobile network. I will be travelling to Toronto in the near future and would like to have an unlocked phone with me when I get there. Here is some information that you mind find useful;

Firmware Version: v4.02

Country: Antigua & Barbuda
FYI, I have not tried any codes yet so I'm good go with any help you guys can provide.

Only try the code once and once only!!!
Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.
If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked.
If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed
If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.
Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the code.
Here is your code: #pw+907742623424435+7#
If the mobile gives no response/no message then do the following: Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button, a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok
Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!
Please reply with your results. :)

Unfortunately, I tried the code you provided and received an Code Error message on my 1st attempt. Should I attempt the code a 2nd time? Please advice.

To enter code:
Make sure battery is charged.
Power on.
Ignore ?Insert SIM?
Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.

JG, thanks for giving me a new code but I received a CODE ERROR when I entered that one as well... Any idea what else I can try?

Yes, you are correct. The phone is indeed BMobile from Cable & Wireless. I tried the code you gave me last and got the message "Not Allowed" so I don't know if we're getting warmer or if I just locked the phone to BMobile permanently. Let me know.

Sorry to hear that.
That was the third code we gave you. You get 3 to 5 tries.
If the last code was wrong you should have seen Code Error.
Someone has entered other codes.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
It is hard locked now.
It will still work on C&W but you will have to find a shop with the equipment to unlock it.
