I just got this phone I want it to work, please help.
Make/model phone: Nokia 6030b
IMEI #: 010712009800671
Country the phone is locked in: USA
Provider the phone is locked to: Cingular

Try another sim in the phone it could be unlocked already.

Also make sure that the mobile was not AT&T before the merger.

No, its a branded Cinguarl and it is locked becuase it says the phone is locked or something about restrictions.

My advice mate is to take it to a professional.

One option you have for unlocking is that you can check in your local area for someone that provides unlocking of hardlocked phones or check the link below:
