no everyone is wrong so please shut up you need the special prx files for 1.50 to boot i got them from somewhere. i think it was from the devhook prted to 2.71

Hey, thanks for answering my question. I knew you needed something special for DevHook to emulate fw 1.5 because I had done it before, I just forgot what it was. I got the special prx's from the 1.50 HELPER in the 2.71 downdater package, where do I put them?

i've also tried putting 1.5 dump in my dh/150 folder
no luck....

I put the prx's i got from the 1.50 HELPER part in the 2.71 Downdater in every folder that contained prx's and it messed everything up. All the dh/ files were unreadable and undeletable; I wound up having to reformat my memory stik. Does anyone know how to emulate firmware 1.50 in DevHook .46 or any other version of DevHook for that matter.

I thought ultimate installers only installed firmware 2.71???
Can you choose to install firmware 1.50? And if so, could you post a link so I can download this installer?

okay her is a tutorial on how to do this first lets get some things straight:
1. The special prx files WONT be located from the 2.71 downgrader 1.50 helper so you can forget that.
You will need a full 1.50 firmware dump which are illegal, but i guess psp hacks has one here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=8
so save the rar and leave that for now.
connect your psp via usb
now download this: http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=10274
go inside the ms_root folder and you will see the dh folder. Go into the dh folder and you will see a folder called kd. now go to your psp root. you should see a dh folder too. go inside that dh folder and you should see a kd folder. replace the two kd folders. Now open up that 1.50 firmware dump and you will see flash 0, flash 1, and reboot.bin. now drag those into the 150 folder and now everything should work. however, i dont think it will work properly when emulatoing 2.71, so you may want to backup that kd folder.

Following your suggestion mannyman I emulated successfully firmware 1.50 on my CF 3.03 OE-C! But I have an other problem, I want use umd emulator or similar loader homebrews to load the isos of umd video backup. Unfortunately I noticed that loaders doesn't work on 1.50 emulated by devhook. There is anyone that tried to use loaders? There is anyone that have a solution? Please help me, I'll be very grateful!

Have you tried any loaders in your custom fw?
What do you mean the loaders don't work in 1.50? Do they not boot, or does your iso require a higher firmware. If a higher fw is the case, then used Devhook to emulate a higher fw.

Thanks FranceLab for replying me. I already have Cf 3.03 OE-C so I don't need devhook for play with the isos of my games, I prepared devhook with firmware 1.50 for use loaders (UMD Emulator, DaxIso Loader etc.) to play UMD video isos because they don't work on custom firmware.
I emulated successfully firmware 1.50 with devhook but loaders seem that don't work, I tried several games and videos isos but nothing.
Some friends of mine have 1.50 firmware(not emulated) and they play umd video isos properly using UMD emulator 0.8c.
I'm just trying a way to watch my umd video backups so if someone have a solution please tell me, I don't care if with devhook or with other hbrew/loaders, I just want know if there is a way to watch umd video isos on 3.03 OE-C. Thanks to all.

I tried Umd emulator 0.8c but after I put the settings for each games or videos, it restart on 1.50 dashboard but there's still the Umd disc icon and not the isos icon...
@mannyman did you use umd emulator succesfully on 1.50 emulated?
