im using psp iso shrinker to compress to cso but what exacley it compress? i cant find details enywhere.

i dont know everything it compresses but I know it starts with dummy data.

yes it matters.
if it compresses video then the quality of the video may suffer.
and i just rememberd aside from compressing, does the program also rip somthing or everything's still there

no quality suffers from compression...although there is a couple games out there that are known to lag when compressed. You might consider that suffering. the iso compressing program of your choice also does not rip anything from the iso.
