Hey,

So I'm trying to find a way to fix my ps2, but I have no idea how. I've searched for the problem but it doesnt seem like theres much I can do about it. So some background info on my ps2, its a modded v4 with neo 4.0 i think, (the one with the sbox) and i've had it for around 4 years now. The problem I have with it is that although sometimes it works fine, sometimes when I turn it on theres no color at all, everything is black and white. This only happens on startup, it never turns black and white on me when i'm already playing. When this happens usually I just turn it off and wait for around 15 minutes and the colors back. Is there anyway to fix this?

When I saw this topic I thought it was going to be another 'PAL gameon an NTSC TV' post, but it's not. However, it sounds like there could be something wrong with the A/V connector on your PS2, or your A/V PS2 to TV lead is shot. Try with another lead, see if that helps (a PsOne lead will work as well).
