Hi Guys, I have my PSP version software coded as 7.5 and this has disable me to play any games, and the worse is that when I put any games that required 2.6 version and above and try to update it, it will always reflect that i already have the higher version (7.5 which realistically does not exist), does any kind souls there able to help me on this problem, will be much greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ken

Use STX Version changer or PSPset to change it back to 1.50. I forgot which one was better to use.

vegata999, that won't work for you because you actually have a 2.8 firmware. You have to downgrade it first and then upgrade to the latest custom firmware (3.4 oe-a). The people who are showing 7.5 firmware was a trick for people back in the day who had 1.5 to play newer games without actually upgrading their firmware to the non homebrew friendly higher versions. It's a different day and age with custom firmware's now!
Everybody who has this problem, once you set it back to 1.5 your gunna want to upgrade to 3.4 oe-a firmware. You can play all the newer games and have all sorts of customization options that you don't have with 1.5 and you won't have to use devhook! There is absolutely NO reason to stay at 1.5 anymore. Besides, even if for some god forsaken reason you wanted to go back to 1.5, it's easy to downgrade back from a custom firmware.

So, besides the higher version number, 3.40 OE-A is better than 3.03 OE-C? Becuase people still sing the praises of 3.03 OE-C, saying that it's a better CFW overall. Is 3.40 easier on homebrew?
