1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

Hmm, I have another question. Is it possible for anybody to abuse my IMEI number? In other words - can somebody use this information against me?

Yes, someone with the right knowledge can clone your mobile.

Agh! I gave my IMEI number to some website claiming to give unlock codes. I entered my IMEI number, received the unlock code. The unlock code was exactly the same as the code you gave (however they did not provide instructions on inserting a non-accepted SIM card).
What happens if somebody can successfully clone my mobile?

Haha, I was just searching Google to find information on it and I have just read that exact same page. It's good info but it looks like said phone-cloner would also need a SIM card.
