Tutorial: Change your fonts.!!! (EASY)´

1)download this file

2)extract it to your psp's memory stick

3)the root of your memory stick should look like this, the circled files are the ones you just downloaded

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b325/EDog046/guide4.jpg

5) unplug your psp and go to the photo section, hit "x" on the fonthack folder, DO NOT HIT "START" OR RUN AS A SLIDE SHOW
6) a black screen with writing should come up, hit "o" count to ten and then hit "home"
7)plug your psp back into your computer
8) download this file.
9) extract it anywhere go into the "Fonts from birdmanss fontpack"
10) the folder should look like this

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b325/EDog046/guide6.jpg

11) those are the folders of all of the fonts, pick one and go into the folder inside the folder there is a folder called fontmod, go into that folder, you should see this

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b325/EDog046/guide67.jpg

13) set the "ltn0.pgf in the FONTMOD folder that's on your MS_ROOT and say yes to overwrite it.
Now unplug your psp from your computer and restartyour PSP and now it should installed the custom font..

There are so many who have problems with the converter..

1. Download this ttf2pgf folder here.

2. Extract the ttf2pgf folder (Where you like)

When you open the folder there should be a "makefonts" MS-DOS batchfile.

Fx:

3. Now set your .TTF font in the folder and press on the "makefonts" MS-DOS batchfile. It should pop up and then go again. But now there should your font in PGF file in the folder..

FX: My TTF file is named "Example.ttf" set it in the ttf2pgf folder and then press in the makefonts MS-DOS batchfile. Then there should come in the folder "Example.pgf".

Enjoy! (Hoping this can be stickied):D

But this is their converter..

If you download the Fhacker093 map there is a .exe that's named "ttf2pgf" but that dosen't work..

If you follow my tutorial it will work :D

I have firmware v 3.00 and I followed the instructions step by step

i have a few questions though

1. does it work on mi version of firmware
2. if not where can i find a tutorial on how to do it for mine
3. exactly in which folder does the folder named "FONT HACK" have to be in (inside the MP_ROOT/PSP/or I:/)
4. can i delete any of the items inside the FONT HACK folder, coz it is taking up valueable music pace :P
5. how come when i open the FONT HACK folder from the PSP via the Photo screen no "Black screen with text on it" comes up, jsut a jpeg that says "These colours don't run" on what appears to be a gray building

appreciating any reply :)

Yeah I just realized that it says in ReaZeN's sig that this is for 2.00-2.80 but it doesn't say in the thread title.

I didn't know how to make your own fonts tho, thanks for that :)

hey umm i personaly think the guide should be more specific like wat would eactly happen after a step so the psp owner wouldnt be like ' HOLY **** I BRICKED MY PSP' when they really didnt.

oh i dont think the guide works cuz i followed it and wen i hold the o button for 10 sec. then tap home.. now i see th blue scree. i tap o and everything is back to normal. it always happens

pspjunior: Read it again. Press O and WAIT 10 seconds. Not hold it. Then hit HOME. See if that works.
