Im trying to play a bin video file, and an AVI file. 2 different movies, but my vlc media player plays them both for about 25 seconds w/o sound or video ! ! I tried downloading GSpot 2.6 to see if I was missing a codec, then it says it cannot read the .avi file ! !

The file works because there is a 3 page forum on how great the movie was and how it was such a good rip. So I dont know why the windows or vlc player wont load the file.

I also reisntalled vlc and still no go.

Can you play the video with any other software? Like BSplayer? Try to install FFDShow and play the video with BSplayer or Windows Media Player.

I downloaded and istalled FFDShow, but I dont have a clue how to use it. Its got a audio and a video configuration option, but I dont have a clue how to use it once loaded. I dont have bs player, but ive tried it on DivX, windows, vlc, and ive downloaded 2 diff codecs, one for windows media, and another I forgot the name.

It should work without any setting up. Well with the .iso, download Daemon Tools and mount that iso. Then go into the mounted file and "rip" that .dat file from the mounted .iso. Then try to play that dat file with vlc. Sorry for the bad english, im from Finland.
