here goes i,m a newbie to dvd burning, i have a nec dvd+rw nd 1100a, what i,m trying to do is i have some video footage which i have edited in premiere 6 and tranfered it to another file on my c drive , i,m using nero 5.5 to burn my footage on to a blank dvd but when i try to put the footage into nero a message comes up saying" the file is lager than 2gb and therefore cannot be stored in an iso file,please use the udf file system to write such large files. this can be done by selecting another compilation type" which i have done but the message still comes up so can anyone help me on this cheers

If you look at most DVD VOB files, they are never more than 1,240MB or something like that. When you are burning ISO and UDF you need to make sure you stay below the 2GB mark. If you wish to burn more than 2GB of a movie onto a DVD-R without splitting it you will need to burn as Data. Otherwise, use TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert the mpeg2 file into a DVD compliant mpeg2.

In DVD Video option check in 'ISO' then make sure ISO level 1 is checked then untick all the options in 'relax ISO' box if they are ticked. Uncheck the 'Joliet' option also if it is ticked. Try renaming your file to a shorter name then try burning again. It is assumed you have video compliant files and not mpeg.
