I have Verbatim DVD-R'z and I burned the iso on 2x Speed...


The vidz are sort of skippy but not to bad...Would it make a difference if I burned at 1x??

That'd probably make them even more 'skippy'. If you're gonna reburn, you'd be better reburning at 4x, since the optimal burn speed for PS2 games is 1/2 the disc's max speed. ie: 4x on an 8x disc

I burned my Verbatim 8x DVD-R at 4x speed and it has the same problem...

Sounds like a laser problem to me. Try cleaning it for a start.
