I am looking for info on swapping the left and right sticks on a PS2 pad it only have 7 wires so surely I can do it even without help but I'll take all the help I can get.....

uuhhh I woke up today with a virus or flu 101 temp massize headaches and body aches...

I also have a intec programmable pad its kinda neat alto the analog is going on it I am swapping them out with a true sony sticks

I dont want tp mod this but have some crappy mad cazts I can kill in order to revers the sticks...

So far no luck the cable to the analog sticks was even 6 one side and 6 the other I was hopeing a simple cable swap would do it nooo...I now have to play tag with with it one by one so I can figure out what doe what ><

I managed to take a generic sony PS2 pad break the 7 wire PBC the analogs are soldered into then switch them right to the left and left to the right then rewire them back together the way the were surprisingly it works well enough to to let me look around with my left thumb its not quite prefect but a leap beyond what I was doing,maybe I can get this mad catz one to work...its just...I don't feel like taking a week to figure out what of the 12 wires dose what and where they go....><

BTW is there any easy way to tighten up a lose analog stick?

hey im sry no one replied top your Q? but im sure it isnt that hard pluss a new controller is only like 10$ why not just get a new one ?? im sure if you find the exact spot where it wore ie ..... a wire lose or a sping w/e im sure there is a simple way to repair it
