Hi maximus30
Need a bit more info to try and sort this out.

What software are you using to burn?

What happens - any errors messages?

Media you are using? Make and model of the burner?

Hmm should work just as well on the new pc.
Do you have AnyDVD running? Look in the system try and see if the red fox is there to say it's on.
Using the latest 6.0.6.3?

As long as it has windows XP on it you should be good. Vista now well let's wait & see on that one. Not too sure if AnyDVD will work w/ Vista yet. So you may want to get a new pc b/4 they start coming w/ the Vista o/s.

@jemaric: Are you logged on as a admin and not a restricted user as i doubt it's the comp or software that's the problem

Also on some systems, stuff fails until the region code is set on the drive. Since this is a new system, have you set the region code for your DVD drive?

i just got a new hp computer about 3 months ago

i had to set the region code for both drives, and also
had to turn off autoplay feauture as well.
beause when i put a movie in to back up i would start
to auto play, then the programs would fight about it.

plus i had to turn off (Sonic)Record Now aswell beause
it would remember what i had done previous and i would
have a hard time finding the file to burn...ect....
