Error 13 Please Help!!

Hi there, i am new to the site. I know there is a stickie saying how hotswapping can fix this erro, but i think there is an easier way if anyone knows it.

Basically i tried softmodding my xbox using a guide from -xbins- and used SID 3.1 final. I did everythin as far as i know, backedup c drive to e, installed softmod, and installed dash. The only thing i didnt do before i turned my xbox off was patch msdash.

When i restart the xbox using "open disk" it flashes red and i got error 21. I then tried to restore msdash but after that when i restarted i got Error 13. Now i dont know what to do. I noticed that the MSDASH backu is im e:\backups\c and when i try to restore it it mentions that it should be in a different directory e:\backups\ms i think.

I can still play games but all i want to do is either have a working normal xbox, or a softmodded one. is there any way of getting rid of that damn error?

Any help is much appreciated, and if you need any other information just ask.

have you tried reinstalling the softmod??? And not to seem like a dick but e-mail addresses arnt allowed

Thanks for your help. i have tried to reinstall the softmod but nothing worked, unless im doing it wrong. I turned on my xbox just now and i am receiving an error 16 now! Any insight? Thanks.

Nope, i cant because alls i get now is the bloody error 16! games wont start and i cannot acces a dash, not even a softmodded one. I think i am going to have to hotswap. It seems like the only option left. I am going to try to softmod it again afterwards, (hopefully i can fix it first) so can you recommend an installer to use and where to get it? thanks so much for your help.
