I just put a new burner in my older pc and also bought a new pc. When I use shrink it shows my burner as an image recorder. It asks me to name the file and then save it. I have done this it burns and says sucsesful but cannot be played in any player. I have tried -r +r +rw and everything I can think of . If anyone has an Idea pleas help me

Are you talking about Nero? In the dropdown box you can change it to your burner.

I dont thinks so it is where you choose your burner with the drop down box. It just says image burner and it use to say something like dvd burner from hp

If u are talking about autoburning with Nero it will show the DVD burner with a Nero icon next to it, but u have to enable the check box to be able to burn with Nero

Yah it looks like I have that checked. It is strange because it wants to save the file before it even starts to burn

Nero has an image recorder function. Shrink does not unless you mean ISO Image File?

It is strange because it only shows it as an image writer on the drop down box. Every other pc I have had it on shows a burner option like on my sony it has a pioneer burner as the option

it says it is a dvd ram drive it is a e drive
