I'm attempting to put videos to computer. Problem is W.M.P. will not capture video. I'm using a 4-4 firewire. When Movie player starts, I select DV-AVI format, then capture video. The camera rewinds, then W.M.P attempts to capture video. The camera is playing tape but no images are going to computer. I stop capture and Warning sign "Specific video device not responding, Verify device connection properly, turn on and try recapture again." The computer will record image/sound when camera is set to camera, but when switched to Play(VCR) problem occurs. What can I do? I have a Sony Vaio 3.0mG with iLink S400 connection. Running Windows XP Home Edition.
