Hello,

I don't know if this sort of thing exists but does anybody know of any programs that will permanently erase files from my hard drive without leaving any trace as I want one of these programs but these are all really expensive. I want this software as I am going to remove my current hard drive and in the past I have made letters and documents containing personal information such as home address and phone numbers etc as I've heard about identity theft from people finding old hard drives. Also does anybody know any other free programs that can see hidden files in folders as this would be handy as well.
