Howdy - I hope this is in the right section....
I have been reading threads etc to help me with my issue, but I'm still stuck....
I have a game that is a rar file. I extracted it which gave me a heap of smaller rar files i then extracted the rar file (not the r01,r02,r03 etc) and got an MDF and an MDS file. I have used DVD Decrypter to attempt to burn the MDS to disk but i get an error message saying Invalid or unsupported image file format - Reason: Only single track images are supported.
I have done alot of back-ups in the past, but have never had any experience with rar files etc etc.
I'm hoping someone here can help me with this as I have been at it for a week now trying to understand the process from rar to usable program.

I think DVDD only burns single track mdf type files. I think Alcohol and Magic ISO burn mds\f but I don't remember for sure.

I don't use the file type so I cannot vouch for either program.

Hopefully someone else will have more definitive info for you.

You need to rebuild the ISO first in order for DVD Decrypter to burn the MDS file, if the final ISO is bigger than 4.3GB. Try to extract those rar files to see how big is the ISO file. If it's under 4.3GB, then just burn it with DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

I used Daemon Tools and it worked fine - thanks.
I now hv another problem with installing the program - but I think it's an operating system issue - Windows. So I'lll start a new thread in the right section
