HDloader rarely loads

As the headline says, my hdloader rarely loads on my ps2, sometimes I only have to restart my ps2 a few times (~10) and sometimes it can take several hours because my ps2 can't recognize the disc as a ps2 disc. I know it's not the dics that's causing this reading error per se altough hdloader is the only disc that has this problem, all my other games loads without a hitch, because I've bought 2 hdloader disks, both have problems loading. I've had this problem since I first bought it and it's getting really annoying so I were wondering if I'll get the same problem with Swap Magic

Yeah, but if it will load as "often" as hdloader then I don't really see the point. I guess it's hard for you to know wether it will or not but if anyone has ever experienced this issue, and I remember reading about if somewhere, then perhaps someone know.

Swap Magic loads very fast but there are some games that when trien to boot it with swap magic will load alittle slower (about some seconds).My swap magic disks load all my back ups very fast so i would recomend you buyin them.

It's not that my hdloader doesn't load the games, it's the hdloader that doesn't start, i get a "insert a PS2 disc bla bla" screen most of the time i put it in my ps2

Then something may be wrong with your HD loader disks(possibly Scartched).

I'm starting to wonder whether u've actually read my post or not, I said that I have 2(two) hdloader discs and they're both the same, it probably has something to do with my ps2 but I don't feel like buying a new one. As I said i've read about someone with the same problem and his ps2 we're completely new but he returned that one and got a new one and didn't have that problem anymore

Maybe it does have something to do with your PS2 so what is your model?

I have a v5 or v6, but I don't think that has to do with anything as there would be alot more people whining on the forums, but you doesn't seem to know whether or not swap magic will have the same reading error as hdloader so nevermind
