is it possible for someone to import an Emulated Gamboy Advance or Dreamcast game into PS2 by burning the data onto a blanck DVD????

Damn that answer was quick and suttle. But i thought it was possible to upload some oof the emulator games onto a PS2 memory card and then with a boot disk you could just play from there?!?!?! or was that the PSP??

Dreamcast no. There was a GBA emulator in creation but hasnt really done anything for over a year now, im thinking its dead.

If there isnt one yet for PSP there will be soon, there a probably loads of people working on one. Not really sure of any details though im not much of a follower of PSP news.

There is a good PSP GBA emulator called GPSP. I'll put it like this. Xbox beats the hell out of PS2 when it comes to emulation. So developers focused on Xbox for emulators. PS2 has Sega Genesis and SNES and a few 8 bits and that's about it. BTW all of which are much better on Xbox. PSP is really the only option for handhelds. It's the most powerful handheld with a user base in the millions. That's why you see so much emulation for it. I hope this clear things up.

no way is xbox beat psx2. Because sony started before xbox. Thats why the old psone games play on the ps2. Thats why they upgreated. And the other reason xbox can burn mp3s and play them through their system. Then reason psx2 can play dvd, music cd's and games excpt for psx2 cant burn mp3's can play them through the psx2. The psx2 doesnt have the capability to burn mp3's, like xbox can. small handhelds suck, they get stolen easy.

OMG what a young noob you are! Go play emulators on both and tell me that. Xbox has a much more powerful CPU and that's makes a world of difference. Plus it's more open and flexible. Get you facts straight before you start spouting off at the mouth. Also PS2 doesn't emulate PS1 software. It's running PS1 hardware within the system. That's why PS1 games run perfectly. Obviously I'm not just making this stuff up or there would be more of the emulators you are looking for on PS2.
Lastly specs don't lie. Xbox is double PS2 in pretty much every category.

well for one bill gates make too much money than sony thats why xbox does more than psx2, but I'm a sony player than xbox. I never liked xbox. They consider more sports games on xbox than other plantforms. who is young here dude im 31 years old for crist sakes.

well im more trying to figure out how to make pxs emulator roms so my action replay max evo cam play the .bin files of the original back ups. With out damaging my original copies that cost so much. The reason why they think xbox is better is because microsoft software that the xbox can play.

With PS2 you'll need some type of case mod to swap the disc without the PS2 knowing and a PS1 Action Replay or Breaker Pro will boot a PS1 backup. Also you can just use any retail PS1 game, stop by hand at the splash screen and swap the discs. It's not the most recommended method, but it works.

That is not what i am talking about. What I wanted to know is if we can make a emulator .bin file of our originals and play them through our action replay max evo media player for our playstation 2 systems.
See I bought an original action replay max evo for my psx2. But did you know that they wont make anymore coppies of psone games anymore just ps2 games now.

well then why did they made a program cd that boot up copies then answer me that. Or okay then check this out rom hustler.com they have genesis roms that you burn to cd-r and play through action replay max evo media player on the playstation 2 of the original genesis games that they dont make anymore.

ARMAX evo media player is a SNES/GENESIS Emu, as well as a media player. It will never be able to load ps1 games through it EVER.
And stop calling it psx2 its got me confused, thinking you were talking about the PC emulator.
The Xbox's hardware is far superior (coming from a huge Sony supporter) to the PS2, being released 2 years after it. Emulation on the xbox is way more advanced also, 1 because its more powerful, and 2 because its easier to code for.

thats because of bill gates. Oh and I tryed the snes roms on the action replay max evo for the playstation 2 and it dont work only the genesis ones do.

It has nothing to do with Bill Gates, except maybe his bank. The hardware advances in the 2 years between the launches was sufficient enough for a game console to be released with the Xbox's hardware. Sony have a way more powerful (in most aspects) Ps3 than the 360, so whats Bill Gates got to do with it?

well its nice to know that you guys went completely off the subject for awhile but thats ok. I looked up the GPSP that u mentioned and found GPSP.07zip and I can play some GBA games on my computer (half way there!) now all i need is to find a way to be able to play it on my PS2 or PSP. Since everybody so far has said that its impossible to do it with the PS2 im still tring to figure out how to get it to work on my PSP. I have a PSP version 2.71 please help! Also i know that I might have to downgrade my PSP in order to play the emulated games but i heard that there is a way to do it with 2.71. if so I would like to know how...

I think there is a way possibly on 2.71, but I'm not sure since I have 1.5. They may know for sure on the PSP board. What I will say is if you don't have a TA-082 you should consider downgrading your PSP. It's so much better to have 1.50, especially if you like emulation.

TA-082 is the motherboard model number (or some number like that) which is currently still unable to be downgraded no matter what firmware you have.
