what kind of error

i had an error before with 2.2 also, only because i already had the garyopa patch on their which had xtreme firmware 1.2-1.3. If that is the case, go back to ur original firmware(using restore.bat- worked for me not by double clicking it, but accessing it through dos prompt in windows)then try flashing it. If u restore it, i think ull have to turn off ur xbox360 first.

Try GARYOPA'S 7IN1 XTREME FIRMWARE 2.1 OR 1.3. Both worked for me on a v47. You may need to restore as stated.

If you have the gary opa 7in1 installed, then restore back to the original firmware and get the birdy 2.2 fixed with mediacheck. Then reflash. Everything is everything after that.

I cant even restore my drive because when i try to use GaryOpa I get an error saying that my drive is not flashing. And it tells me 1. to close all my backgroung programs. 2. That windows might not be compatible and to restart in safe mode. 3. That my drive isnt really in mode B.

Are you using OPA's firmware package to restore a Birdy flash? You need to use the same flasher you flashed with to restore, then put OPA's on there. But like I said earlier, I'd go with the Birdy Flasher 2.2Fixed with the mediacheck2 file.

well heres the story. First i flashed my drive with OPAs 7 in 1. but it didnt play my backups. And i know they were backed up right because they play in my samsung fine. So then i restored my original firmware using OPA. Then i tried flashing with birdys v2.2 but it gave me an error something about comparing firmware. And now i cant even flash it with OPAs. It says that my drive isnt flashing.
