My ps2 will read swap magic but no backups

Swap magic reads ine but I try to boot a game and it wont read but I know these games worked cause they worked a few days ago... and all of a sudden it wont read swap magic games any advice?

Start by cleaning the laser with a cotton bud & some rubbing alcohol.
If that doesnt work, then it could be media related. If you use poor quality media, then games wont work, or will work for a short while, then never again. What brand & type of media are you using?

i use different types but ALL of my games arent working it isnt just one... i dont think they all would short out on the same day...

its weird its like my ps2 will only read games...


like i have nascar 07 which used to work but now it doesnt and thats a big game, same with battlefield 2


i also tried playing greg hastings paintball at 4gigs, didnt work
i rebuilt it and it was 1.5 gigs after that and it works...


any suggestions?

i've got the same problem with Metal Slug 3D and Saint Seiya: The Hades, who used to start for a while, then they stopped. O_O
