I did the slim ps2 tape on the sensor and using cogswap through armax option on my slim. My friend asked me to do it for him on his. His shitty tape wouldnt hold the sensor in the back down and so i used a VERY MINIMAL AMOUNT of super glue over the top of it and now the disk won't spin.
???
I am sure it worked before and when we played 3 games or so on there, put in a armax disk in. Turned it on, and no spin spin...

Whatever possessed you to use Superglue?
You've most likely bu**ered your m8's PS2!
The glue you put on the sensor has most likely trickled through from the sensor onto something under it, and when the glue has hardened it has affected the drive motor.

Like I said, the process (using armax to load cdloader with the sensors pressed down) HAD worked for like 3 games and then i tried to go back to playing it and boom. no spin spin.

Hold it right there. This is the FIRST time something like this has ever happened. I have used a VERY SMALL AMOUNT of superglue because he had some old $hitty a$$ dollar store tape that wouldn't hold and he ASKED me to use superglue. NOT MY IDEA!
All's Im askin is if there is something I can do besides having to buy a new mobo off of ebay.
