Mouse freezes, really weird though....

hey guys, i have Windows XP pro, on a machine i use to work in 3D, has SLI 7800 GTX, sound blaster X-fi, 3 gigs of ram, Amd dual core 4400+ . just though id say that incase u guys need system specs.

But the real problem is with my mouse, its a Logitech G5, i dont think the problem has to do with the acual mouse though. Some times it will just freeze, and it will stay froze until i press ANY key on my keyboard. And then after i press the button the mouse will move instantly to where it should have if it didnt freeze. really weid, so if you guys or gals have any information on this i wold really appreciate it.

Its harder then hell to do work in maya when it freezes, so the sooner the better!

might be your display, not your mouse (might not be refreshing?)...
have you tried other mouses?
how a bout a usb/ps2 mouse (opposite of what your using).
