I softmoded my XBox using the Mech Assault exploit. Installed EvoX because UnleashX wouldent boot properly. setup the FTP fine. Installed DVD2Xbox. I left it unpluged overnight not thinking and now when I boot, it goes to the clock set screen then takes me to the MS dash. Its not clockloop which ive read into because it doesnt constantly boot itself over and over. My power light stays red meaning the softmod is active. but It just wont load the EvoX dash, every time I turn it off then back on it goes straight to the clock set then to MS dash. I get the feeling im missing something fundimental. Is there a way to just open EvoX from the MS dash? Or something i can change on a reinstall to fix this? Thanks for reading my thread. And thanks in advance for any help.

try reloading the linux installer from the game you used to softmod.

Yeah I would re-install the softmod. Just because the light on the console turns red doesn't mean anything, unless you changed your default LED to red. What's wrong with unleash? I never had a problem.

ok it let me FTP to it wile i have SID4 open.
Should I change something thru the FTP or just reinstall the softmod? Is this fixable to avoid future problems or is it just a con of the softmod?

I managed to open EvoX thru the linux installer. But is there a way I can reset the clock so I dont have to boot EvoX this way every time? I had it set to boot EvoX on power on.

sorry for the long list of posts down the thing, I cant find an edit command or I would have made them all 1. Unleash X gave me the same clock problem when I installed it thru the softmod. And the user manual that came in PDF with the softmod installer notes the color designating the status of the softmod activity.
