hello everyone..
im fed up ... i hav been on ebay to try to unlock my nokia 6030 but just no luck... so here i am now!

i live in the u.k and the phone only works on the damn orange network..

We need to know the country the mobile was bought in.

How many codes have you tried and what was the last error message?

i live in the u.k and yes it was bought from the u.k ..

i used code 1 and then 7 but no joy... i used the codes below using some free software online called nokia free codes calculator:

What was the error?
Are you certain it's locked to Orange?
Did you follow the instructions in my sig?

1.it said phone restricted.
2.it works on orange only coz i have used it on orange until now
3.i tried using your sig..but problem was that if i took sim out the phone and tried to enter the codes then the screen wouldn't accept all numbers and it would only allow emergency calls it said.
so i put a sim inisde (T-mobile sim) which then said phone restricted ... unlock? then i said yes.. then it gave me a box for me to enter the code into!
when i entered code.... it said phone restricted!

It needs to be entered with the sim out.

You have to be very quick to get p, w, and +. you are probably enetring too many digits.

I do not want to be responsible for hardlocking your phone so try at your own risk. If your mobile does hardlock it will not do any damage to your mobile but no more codes will work, the only option would be to take it to a shop that offers a direct unlocking service.

none of the codes worked... but i took it to a mate in a phone shop who sorted it out for a fiver...!
