I've been playing Dead Rising and it's cool and all, but I don't have an HDTV so the Text is SOOOO Small!!! I can't even read the dialogue which is crap!
Is there ANY way to make the in-game text slightly more readable? I want to play the game but it kills me to try and read the text.

Those tips are pretty worthless IMO. I tried them on an SDTV. Plus who wants a streched screen? It looks like crap.

Exactly. Hopefully now that this problem has been brought up sdtv users won't see it in any other games.

I wish they would just say they messed up and didn't check out the game like they should have, but they'd never do that since some people might demand refunds for this $60 game. Over half of the 360 owners out there don't even have HDTVs. Are we to believe they only looked at 30% or so of 360 owners are potential buyers for this game? I certainly don't think that's the case.

I know almost all of the retailers have a "no refund on opened games, exchange for same game only" policy, but this is one of those rare occasions where the game actually has a serious problem which is not marked on the packaging, and the developer acknowledges it. Buyers should be allowed to return it. Capcom should be out the $$$ (through lost sales) not the consumer.

hey liquidsli, have you tried upgrading your scart lead ? I done this and the text is so much clearer now well worth doing mate.I do know what you mean tho the text otherwise is very blury. I was also hoping you could help me on this game ? when you speak to the other people in the game do they speak back to you through the speaker or just through subtitles ? as it only comes through subtitles for me but their mouths are moving like speech should poss come through the speakers ?

I remember when this game came out! Campcom made the game for HDTV's only, so when you played it on a regular TV, the text would be all screwed up. I thought with an update they could fix the problem, but I guess they don't know how to do that.
