You can't mod original maps online. Its not possible unless you mean like system link play like xbox Connect.

you can mod old maps online in custom i just played a couple of days ago on lock out they had warthogs an wraiths

any1 who doesnt believe you can mod the old maps on xbl go to youtube and tipe in old map mods or the specific map you want to see. tipe burial mounds mods and the tital is burial mounds mods on xbl

that doesnt work the halo 2 on your hard drive thing only allowes you to mod them offline but if there is someway you can do that than i would like to know because i mod old maps doing that but i cant connect xbl also to mod old maps online FOR SURE you need to burn halo 2 to a blank disc my problem is i dont have a dvd burner

damn full!!!!!! you can mod them online you have to save h2 to ur hdd mod them then boot then turn softmod off and boot the dvd

i have the mods on my hardrive so i can mod them by playing games from hardrive but if you play the game with the disc its going to load the old maps from THE DISC NOT THE HARDRIVE

Just boot the original game and then u can mod them online

once you signed in go in and swith to ur modded drive

i will say this again unless you play games from hard drive your xbox will read the old maps FROM THE DISC. 1 more thing i never opened up my xbox before but thats not the point i already know what you said is not true so there is no point in me opening up my xbox

This does not work, well it never does for me.

As far as i'm aware to mod old maps on live you have to create a new disk with the modded maps on them, you will not be able to use modded maps on live off of your hard drive.
