I left AnyDVD disabled on that one.Good ole Shrink and Nero-main movie only.

Also slapped her on a Verbatim DL for entire disc using DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn, and going to watch it in a short bit.

As usual DVDFAB ripped this easily within 15 minutes. It simply is just another piece of cake.

BTW tl_mitch why would you use BOTH DVD Decrypter and CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD when all you need is CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD

and if your using DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD set it up like this

To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated per Olli ->OF SLYSOFT AND CloneDVD

Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings

I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"

General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"

Most of you may think this is a silly question, but I got X-Men 3 and i want to burn a copy. The usual way I do it is to use DVD FAB and then Shrink, in which I reauthor to only get the main movie, and then it automaticially burns with Decrypter. I owuld like to have the ENTIRE movie, including extras and menus as there are three ending options. How do I do this so that I get the whole movie and it will still play on any DVD player. WHen I used Shrink alone, my dvd's don't play on all the DVD players.

Any help is welcome or if you can direct me somewhere...

Thanks!!!!!!!

just learning how to be a movie buff.....

LynsWil25,
You problem is usually caused by the compatibility of the blank DVD Media and the specific player. Not all players can play the different name brand media. You can try if your burner allows you to to use DVD(+) blank medis to booktype the media to DVD-Rom. I have no problems using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blank media in any of my players.

@aabbccdd
That's just a force of habbit for me to do it that way. I've never had any issues doing it that way. AnyDVD is always running on my pc. I prefer to use DVD Decrypter to rip to my hd first and then I use CloneDVD to remove titles that I don't want. In the past, I've had some quality issues using CloneDVD to rip to my hd and I don't like using it on the fly.

Btw...

Wow. It seems that only a handful of studio's are still keeping up with copy protection. This one was a cake walk.

Yeah, Basic Instinct 2 had a weird name too. Wasn't it Root_kit or something like that? I remember people were getting worried that putting that DVD in their drives would install the Sony root kit on their computers. Afterall, Basic Instinct 2 is a Sony release. lol

tl_mitch, you can also use the ripper in AnyDVD to get the file to your HD then use CloneDVD 2 to transcode and burn saving you a step and time
