Hi:

I have been burning to Ritek +R disks. I often get glitching and unreadable copies. I was under the impression that it was related to the quality of the Disk and I thought the Ritek disks were good quality. Can someone please advise me about my problem.
I'm using the Clone DVD 2 software

The easiest suggestion would be to try another brand...is your firmware up to date?

Download and run Nero Infotool...under the Drive tab, your drive will be listed along with the current version of firmware you are using. Post both the drive and firmware version.

Pixelations and freezes can also be caused by burning too fast. What speed are you burning at?

A good rule of thumb is to burn no faster than 1/2 the rated speed for the disc. Example, if the disc is rated for 8x you should burn at 4x.

Cheers.

Burning at 2x even though the disk is 8X -- no difference with the Pixilation issue.
